Steve Wade
Steve Wade won Second Prize in the 2008 Biscuit Short Story Competition with his story The Homecoming. His prize was a Writer's Retreat / Holiday for one week in Talbot House, Flanders, plus £200 travel expenses.
Steve is an English language teacher. After completing an M.Litt at Trinity College, he moved to Sardinia where he spent four years writing and teaching. He is now living in Dublin.
His work has been published in Krino literary journal. He won first prize in the Telecho Short Story Competition, and was also shortlisted for the 2006 Lorian Hemmingway International Short Story Competition. His work was recently published in the Sunday Tribune's New Irish Writing, and in West 47 online. He has just completed a novel, for which he is seeking representation.
