BISCUIT PUBLISHING

Since 2000, Biscuit Publishing has been promoting good writing by running competitions and publishing the results, as well as commissioning work from selected authors. There are currently over two dozen books in print.

We are delighted to announce the winners of the Biscuit Publishing Short Story Competition 2010: the First Prize Winner is Peter Bromley, from Northumberland, for his story A Pure Note. Peter has been among the winners of the Biscuit competition before, and in 2007 was overall winner of the competition with a portfolio of three stories. Second prize went to First Day of Night by Adnan Mahmutovic from Sweden; Amy Shuckburgh from England took Third Prize for Pudding and Pie. In addition, all seven runners up were very highly commended by the judges. All the winning stories, plus the top ten stories from the Flash Fiction competition, will be published in a Winners' Anthology later this year.
